Halestorm – Into the Wild Life (2015) – Review

This one took me some time to digest, I admit. Snivelling rage gone and replaced by what? Lzzy Hale growing old, going pop and blues rock on me?

For sure this is NOT what we expected from 'Halestorm' for their newest, lengthily announced 2015 magic potion 'Into the Wild Life'. It looks like 'Halestorm' is trying to jump on to the mainstream train, which would of course be much more alluring money-wise than anything else that the band could generate screaming about outside, off the beaten track.

Halestorm – Halestorm (2009) – Review

I had never heard of Lzzy Hale before and for sure nothing of a US band called 'Halestorm'. Wassatt? A spelling mistake? Well, folks, joking stopped like right away when I started to listen to their first track on their album named after themselves. Got me stand up straight, starting to rock away through the neighborhood to the amusement of people around me. Holy. Shit.

Since then they have my undivided attention and I have Lzzy and her band in highest esteem.

Halestorm – The Strange Case of … (2012) – Review

Hahaa!! Right up my alley! Halestorm at its best, delivering some solid hard rock and then some. Taking off at full speed, Lzzy Hale is doing her very best with aggressive vocals of love and pain, feelings about rock shows and ... soft stuff.
