RockmusicRaider Review - Within Temptation - Enter - Album CoverAs I am in the Within Temptation groove, let’s stay there for a while. It would be a pity not to review the very first record Enter. They created this one back in 1997. After the band officially assembled about a year earlier.

The band formed just after the departure of Sharon den Adel from her usual work routine as a fashion designer, I kid you not. Smart girl, that. She apparently still designs her own outfits. RockmusicRaider - Dirty Sound Magnet - What Lies Behind - Album Cover

A friend of mine dragged me to a concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival to see these guys live. To see Dirty Sound Magnet? WTF? Dirty who?

On the menu: What Lies Behind. And I admit, I had no idea what to expect.

I found myself in a small concert hall with that atrocious bunker feeling. You know, these sweaty walls, this closed feeling, and stuffy atmosphere. Some might call that cozy, but to me, it felt oppressive. Not that the band had any say in it. And you know what? It probably is (or was) a [...] Click to raid more!
