Sun After Dark – Tatkraft (2025) – Review

Sun After Dark - Tatkraft - Album Cover

Imagine a post-apocalyptic world where bleak is the new normal. Foggy visions in a frozen landscape chase each other like so many icicles lined up in a row.

This sounds as oxymoronic as the band moniker Sun After Dark. And perhaps they should have called their outfit simply ‘Night’ or something. But the metaphor perfectly describes what went through the RMR crew’s mutual minds when listening to the piece.

So, meet Tatkraft1 and let its garbled waffling baffle your inner self. But stow these pills firmly away first. This whole chebang already sounds like substance abuse in sound

Bergthron – Neu Asen Land (2025) – Review

Bergthron - Neu Asen Land - Album Cover

Allsighr didn’t talk to us at first. But in time, the quirky ways of Sarke got into our metal bloodstream and took hold like one of those sneaky viruses. And Nocturno snarkily croaking ‘allsighr’ a felt every five seconds made it bounce about our mutual heads for way too long.1[...] Click to raid more!

As Light Dies - The Laniakea Architecture, Volume II - Album Cover

The RMR crew had their share of intricate metal pieces to review that strained to make sense. So, one day this early 2023, some RMR hands peacefully rummaged about the moldy lost corners of our review pipe. Just to discover that the Spaniards of As Light Dies brutally struck again.

And I freely admit it here for the record, The Laniakea Architecture, Volume II must be one of the most challenging records this crew ever attacked. This is no album for the faint of heart – and it probably belongs into the realm of Trve Metalheads ov the Weird. Oblivion … [...] Click to raid more!
