Panzerchrist - All Witches Shall Burn - Album Cover

Panzerchrist‘s Last of a Kind kicked up a ton of dust over here in 2023. To the point that all this brutally vile debauchery landed straight on the RMR Top 10 of that very same year. Somber and terrible – as was the Year of the Dark Lord 2023. Now, we got new beginnings and all, and already we’re looking for the real thing. Like that slab of burnin’-hot metal that will soothe our frayed nerves. Looks like 2024 doesn’t bode well – already.

Well, good that PC didn’t comfortably lean back against their black altar, but sent us All Witches Shall Burn instead. You’ll be treated to the band’s own idea of New Year’s wishes. Starting with the good ol’ Sabbath of the Rat lifted straight from the aforementioned Last of a Kind, you’ll get treated to three new tracks that – for some reason – never garnished their last LP. And the selection of tracks may well be feistier still than their last piece of work.

Majestically elaborated fury that marches forth with combined industrial and doom-laden elements like some demented Depeche Mode from a parallel universe. And all of that frenetic blackened metal weaves itself into a ferocious and deathly piece of alloy. A glowing slab of creepy horrors screaming for Satan. One that’s – as always – tailor-made for one Sonja Rosenlund Ahl in very fine form. Looks like Yule did well for her.

Satanick Panick, Panzerchrist style, and for that All Witches Shall Burn. Now, go ahead and hit play. This thing’s so hot, it will burn them holiday pounds straight off your lean frame.

Cool piece.

Ed’s note: And they – yet again – unleashed a new record. This same year. Check it out!
