Hehe! Gotta love these guys. Their stated calling as acolytes of Epic Pastoral Doom Metal already elicited some evil chuckles over at the RMR Review Desk. No note has rang out yet, and already Fvneral Fvkk‘s (imagined) genre exudes that musty musky1 odor of pasty, slightly sweaty men in robes from another world, chanting weirdly in vast, empty buildings surrounded by scented smoke. Dire cases of modern sorcery duly established. Right?

The devil is in the detail. And in the name, too. Because Nomen est Omen, as the saying goes. So, when Fvneral Fvkk released their newest album Carnal Confessions in September 2019, it got that proverbial cold shoulder. Because, let’s face it, the name the band chose for themselves doesn’t inspire anyone to write that review. In other words, whenever a moniker exudes that musty smell of juvenile bad taste, the crew over here puts those records on the back burner. There is only so much marketing and legal can explain, you know.
