Whenever the RMR crew members need to lose some mental steam, Anaal Nathrakh is the go-to band. That’s where real rage happens, delivered by two true wackos. It’s like a steely high-pressure valve. And we’re all hoping that they’ll still continue for a while longer. We might soon run out of records to cover, else. This fucking crazy world of ours is wearing us out and some will need this band’s ferocity or some folks might just grab that chainsaw back in the shed.

After a slow start, things started to look more lively. At first, we thought that the progressive folks would pretty much deliver naught. Yet, suddenly we have a choice, and a difficult one at that.

Then we stumbled across folk pieces where there should be none, … [...] Click to raid more!

I am using the word dense a lot lately. And that’s not meant in a bad way. The RMR deck crew recently took a liking to high-intensity, super-octane Extreme Metal records that will just blow you away by sheer force. Or at least try to. And – second – we have it with duos this year. Bands that only consist of two members. I have no explanation why 2020 turns out this way, but it does.

So, this time it is Anaal Nathrakh‘s time to shine. And before you grow yourself any silly ideas, the name means snake breath … [...] Click to raid more!
