2024 was a difficult year at first. It started very slow and apart from a few forlorn underground pieces, there wasn’t much that struck the fancy of the old geezers over at the RMR Review Desk. So, how were we ever going to field a genuine Top 10 series with no good material to show for? But fear naught, by late spring the crop started showing some promising results. Amazingly, acts boasting a felt gazillion years of service and the sky-high opinion of die-hard fans should sway our stone-cold hearts to worship the fans’ gnarly objects of desire. But not so, or at least not right away. So, as always, the RMR Review desk gave those newcomers a little push to reveal their trve nature without succumbing … [...] Click to raid more!

RMR’s 2023 Top 10 Records

RMR Top 10 Records 2023 - Cover

2023 started slowly. And at first, the RMR crew wasn’t quite sure where it would all lead to – or end. And by the word ‘end’, I mean the end of RMR. A lot of soul-searching went into this year’s continuation of a steady flow of reviews. Same as other music sites out there, we had our severe doubts if running a review ‘zine wasn’t just a fucking waste of internet space or not. Brutally put, nobody gives a damn about review sites anymore – apart from those looking for free marketing. So, if you’re reading this, then the leftover … [...] Click to raid more!
