Daemonium Regni – Daemonium Regni (2026) – Review

Daemonium Regni - Daemonium Regni - Album Cover

Ah, a sign of the times. The daemons are on the loose, it seems. Or to freely paraphrase Anaal Nathrakh, the devils are all on Earth right now. At least that is what today’s world feels like. So, what about a little excursion into ritualistic territory? We may invoke some abysmal thing dispatched to this mortal coil, after all. A real demon, perhaps? Or – again – a whiff of sulphur and mischief without consequences? Well, we won’t know until we do. And then it will be too late to take the right-hand path. But not so, or at least not right away. So, as always, the RMR Review desk gave those newcomers a little push to reveal their trve nature without succumbing … [...] Click to raid more!

Blitzkrieg – Blitzkrieg (2024) – Review

Blitzkrieg - Blitzkrieg - Album Cover

RMR management needs to revisit its n00b policy. There’s an annual list on the zine for lamestream metal acts that never got coverage and whose impact on metal, in general, is indisputable. Now, as they’re far removed from the underground, nobody in our swampy world of extremes cared to lift a pen for them – until now. And that turns them into first-timers, n00bs devoid of loving attention since the RMR zine started its nefarious activities.

But what about those bands like the Leicester-based NWoBHM outfit Blitzkrieg who – without a big-ass label to help – faithfully churned out material … [...] Click to raid more!
