Depravity – Bestial Possession (2025) – Review

Depravity - Bestial Possession - Album Cover

2025 had its share of Brutal Death Metal. And it went something like this: The horrors of Castrator led to Insatiable Violence, which again insinuated the Lust of Decay and finally ended in Depravity. The name of a band from down under that nicely finished this year of mixed reviews. Plus an astonishing number of rants to round things up some.

Nattradio – The Longest Night (2025) – Review

Nattradio - The Longest Night - Album Cover

You get the joke, don’t you? Nattradio boasted that all songs were written and recorded between 1 AM and 5 AM. Hence, also the album cover with the lonely, brightly lit window in the dark shape of the nightly high-rise. Suncraft - Welcome to the Coven - Album Cover

Unctuous stonerware was oozing out of our loudspeakers back in 2021. Suncraft was the outfit’s name, a band totally unknown to the RMR crew. And for cause. Flat Earth Rider, their debut album, sounded like something concocted in one of Cirkus Prütz‘ abandoned giant tents in cahoots with some hidden weed producer. Allegedly. And that gave us hope for moar of that good ol’ bluesy stoner sound. Much moar and blended with harsher soundbites whenever the occasion required it.

Suncraft just returned to the stage with their sophomore piece, Welcome to the Coven. But wait, what? Where … [...] Click to raid more!
