Spicy! Scottish, beer-guzzling pirate meets Italian corsair. Ha! Alestorm and the like have got company in the Pirate Metal universe! Even if we do not quite know, if Alestorm is still alive and kickin’, given their sudden career change. They are now employing astral dwarves with their new outfit Gloryhammer!
But here a worthy heir to this powerful fleet presents itself, in the less astral and genuine form of Silverbones – mighty metal pirates from the South.

The band successfully unmoored their debut full-length album Wild Waves in June 2016. Featuring mainly Power and Heavy Metal infused pirate delights, the album will take you on a pretty wild ride through the storms of the seven seas. Just be careful not to meet Black Beard too quickly, because he is there, too.
So I am told.
Rocking the seas out of Conegliano (North of Venice), the band came into existence in 2013. Taking their markings from outfits like Running Wild and Judas Priest, they then released a first demo Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea later in 2014.
Now, run out those guns and fire away. There is loot to pick up.
And here’s a taste of Wild Waves for you.
