Is it fall yet? No, not quite. We are about to reach summertime. When the weather is nice, y’know, that kind of thing. Yet, when I leafed through the review pipe I found a dark, melancholy type of album. Not made for happy, sunny, and airy times. And it is from last year to boot. One that patiently sat in the RMR review pipe for an extremely long time.

So, why the wait? You see, the time just needs to be right for this kind of music. If you are in the mood for trve metal, then a review of [...] Click to raid more!

The rumor had it that Steven Wilson and his newest full-length To The Bone would be pop. So pop that all metalheads and prog nerds would have to hang their heads in shame upon starting with the record. All of this would – of course – come complete with bright colors and funky videos, [...] Click to raid more!

At times my metal-sore ears just give up the ghost and are in dire need of something more melodious and less harsh. So, there is no better treatment than slapping some progressive and alternative Band-Aid on them.

And indeed, the RMR deck crew finds that those undercurrents finally take on some steam. Luckily so, as the officescape kind of worried about what was about to come still in 2017. Apart from blackened pieces of scorched metal, of which there is plenty these days. Yet still, some doubts persist on what exactly is to come.

Thus any good and technically outstanding [...] Click to raid more!
