2024 brought us our share of French Black Metal already. Seth and Corpus Diavolis are just two of them. Powerful occult Black Metal pieces that will beat the fear of Lucifer into you. Some of it is presented in French, no less. An attribute that the RMR crew has trouble resisting. Extreme Metal works best in that specific language. Latin-based, Luciferian, just good. Even if Satan – apparently – resides somewhere in London.

The RMR crew just enjoyed a bout of olde thrash/trad goodness. Something so retro, it feels like a fucking time machine to the ’80s. But here, we got ourselves some young guns, comparatively speaking with some different flavor.

Enforced started back in 2016 and continued to move full steam ahead, brutalizing everything and everyone in its path. So far, RMR never had the pleasure to welcome them to our roster. I just came back from Germany. The terrible grime and grit of their major cities, their loveless artificial nature, the social injustice on stark display, and the unkempt even neglected swathes of real estate nobody cares about had an impact on yours truly. Alright. I am joining Bokassa‘s club-friendly universe from nowhere-land. RMR, the revenant who has no idea what horse this band rode in on.
