In trying times like these, what better idea than to sit your ass down with some truly vile metal? It will (hopefully) burn the mental fat off your grey matter real fast and help get rid of this aggression fest aimlessly careening about your skull.

Non Serviam. An anarchistically driven chaos troupe masquerading as a metal band. Their last record, Le Coeur Bat,1 was so atrociously underwater that it didn’t even make it to publication over here. And perhaps we should have let it air on the RMR zine. This would mean that two zero-rated records would dwell in our statistics today. Not the greatest idea, by the way. Ah, it has been some time since a tried and trve out-of-the-box piece graced our meager abode. The RMR crew already encountered German rebels, seemingly lost in some obscure ideology. Or, unsung confusing acts that seemed to veer off the deep end in the Northern cold wastelands, but finally succeeded astonishingly well. But some misunderstood that disjointed disjointedness doesn’t mean just mindless chaos. And they spectacularly failed. Not once, but twice. I guess some will never learn, and those have now been banned from coverage on RMR.

The RMR crew liked this metaphor of the red door. The entrance you never want to use, but some compulsive urge takes you there no matter what. It is a bit like this overused Hotel California theme1 of long times past. You can run, but you can never leave, that kind of thing. And wherever you go, suddenly you see that red door appearing out of the poisoned mist. Do you remember the age-old movie The Shining? ‘Xactly, there is a feeling of dread with them doors, colored any which way, that you should never enter.
