Mystfall – Embers of a Dying World (2026) – Review

Mystfall - Embers of a Dying World - Album Cover

Greece’s Mystfall must have sailed straight past our outpost a few years ago. Their debut album, Celestial Vision, just didn’t register. But then, 2023 was a busy year, and the RMR crew is thus excused.

But now it’s time for some Symphonic and Power Metal fun of times long past. Yep, that genre again, one that’s hopelessly overcrowded with a felt 99% of wannabes and 1% of real stars of this very special slice of the metal multiverse.

So, the RMR crew went a-searching for that new over-the-top exuberant record, magnanimously plastering cheese wherever they shouldn’t. Aeon Gods[...] Click to raid more!

DarkTribe – Forgotten Reveries (2025) – Review

DarkTribe - Forgotten Reveries - Album Cover

Should we let you in on a dark secret? DarkTribe‘s last record, Voici L’Homme, never quite synced with us. Apart from the pretty snazzy title track, the piece was a true struggle to review. Meaning, well-elaborated but always kinda bland in nature, the record was always one small step away from generating a rant. Which, in all honesty, it did not deserve.

Fast forward to 2025, and Forgotten Reveries just made it onto our review pipe. First listens revealed the typical DarkTribe sound yet again. Soaring Power Metal roaring in on the mother of all smooth productions with … [...] Click to raid more!
