RMR’s 2024 Infamous Lamestream N00bs!

Old Metal Band in a swampy haunted forest. - RMR's 2024 Lamestream n00bs!

Meager but mostly eager were the 2024’s pickings of yet another batch of lamestream n00bs over at the RMR Office tower. Records of entitled established mainstream bands bestowed with a true metal pedigree that never made it onto our review pipe before. Amazingly, acts boasting a felt gazillion years of service and the sky-high opinion of die-hard fans should sway our stone-cold hearts to worship the fans’ gnarly objects of desire. But not so, or at least not right away. So, as always, the RMR Review desk gave those newcomers a little push to reveal their trve nature without succumbing … [...] Click to raid more!

Blasts from the Past 2023: Fury and Nostalgia!

Blasts from the Past 2023: Anger and Nostalgia! - Angry vinyl cover.

Admitted. We don’t do those all that much anymore. Same as other music sites out there, we had our severe doubts if running a review ‘zine wasn’t just a fucking waste of internet space or not. Brutally put, nobody gives a damn about review sites anymore – apart from those looking for free marketing. So, if you’re reading this, then the leftover … [...] Click to raid more!

RMR’s 2023 Infamous Lamestream N00bs!

RMR's 2023 Infamous Lamestream N00bs - Skeletal Metal Band

Ha! I got ya, didn’t I? Negative headlines indeed create clicks. You thought this was all about miserable underground bands nobody ever heard of. Snazzy ranting destroying the month-long efforts those outfits put in to eke out a living. Right? RIGHT?

Nope, it isn’t. Much to the contrary, this is all about established metal bands that the RMR Review Desk shamefully ignored for all those years. You know, because – mainstream. They may all represent hardened metal but they were also insanely successful, alive and kicking for decades, and show no signs of slowing down. Most of them don’t, of … [...] Click to raid more!
