2023 started slowly. And at first, the RMR crew wasn’t quite sure where it would all lead to – or end. And by the word ‘end’, I mean the end of RMR. Gotland are one of these bands. They’ll release a record and wait for an inordinate amount of time to push the second out into the world. Nine years this time, to be precise. In the meantime, the band floated about the RMRsphereTM for a while with an offering here and there. And once the RMR reviewers thought them dead and gone, they suddenly appeared with grand tales. Or is it just a Fata Morgana of grandeur?

You surely remember one Tomas Börje Forsberg. This is at least how he called himself back in time. Forsberg was more famously known by the moniker Quorthon, and as the founder of the Black Metal turned Viking Metal band Bathory. This band released some truly mysterious and electrifying stuff back in their time. Until their leader’s demise in 2004 at the age of 39 years put a brutal stop to things, that is.
