Nattradio – The Longest Night (2025) – Review

Nattradio - The Longest Night - Album Cover

You get the joke, don’t you? Nattradio boasted that all songs were written and recorded between 1 AM and 5 AM. Hence, also the album cover with the lonely, brightly lit window in the dark shape of the nightly high-rise. The RMR crew will, of course, never know how many night sessions of writing and recording were needed to get to the final product. But the sum of all hours would indeed be The Longest Night on record by earthly standards. It may be different in other planetary systems, though. But, let’s move back to the endless Northern night, shall … [...] Click to raid more!

Cryptopsy – An Insatiable Violence (2025) – Review

Cryptopsy - An Insatiable Violence - Album Cover

Brutally effective Death Metal had a difficult stand over here this year. And bands going beyond that with outstanding skills and a nuclear determination to get there were nonexistent. True, the reasonably feisty Castrator grated on our turntables this year. But we also got more tepid, sewage-infested material, and more of that than we ever wished.

And that gave us hope for moar of that good ol’ bluesy stoner sound. Much moar and blended with harsher soundbites whenever the occasion required it.

Suncraft just returned to the stage with their sophomore piece, Welcome to the Coven. But wait, what? Where … [...] Click to raid more!

Lust of Decay – Entombed in Sewage (2025) – Review

Lust of Decay - Entombed in Sewage - Album Cover

Is it spring yet? There is lust in the air, so much lust. But don’t get your hopes up, RMR didn’t just team up with PornHub. Instead, this is all about – Lust of Decay. That’s right. Lewd putrescence and salacious, festering degradation on steroids. And true to form, the band has a history of dispersing such nasty atrocities.

The RMR crew just covered a hapless blackened doom piece showing us the wanton pathways to certain damnation. If you don’t follow the script of the nailed god, that is. But, what ever happened to all those bodies this process … [...] Click to raid more!
