Video: Deviser feature Black Mass with Sakis Tolis!

RockmusicRaider Video - Deviser - Black Mass - Howling FlamesSometimes marriages actually do work. Deviser – the Greek Black Metal band – and Sakis Tolis from Rotting Christ teamed up and released this tasty little video called Black Mass. All this ably supported by Sleaszy Rider Records

Whilst a bit simplistic and repetitive on structure, the raw Black Metal power and inherent melodic elements exert a pull that will make you come back for more. And don’t we like this kind of flavor. Dark, sinister and very ritualistic – with a hint of delicious evil just lurking around the corner, somewhere in the dark shadows behind the altar.

That said, the RockmusicRaider crew looks forward to the release of Deviser‘s upcoming EP Howling Flames.Got hooked? Raid this some more...

RockmusicRaider Review - Rotting Christ - Aealo - Album CoverTwo things hit home right away once you commence on Aealo. First, the record is intense like dark, hotly spiced chocolate consumed with ruby red wine and – second – it is not Black Metal. At least not in a proper sense. Okay, nothing new there, as even the powers that be officially called Rotting Christ Dark or Extreme Metal back in 2010.

And in truth, the Black Metal thing only (kind of) came back with the 2016 album Rituals. Despite the fact that the band hastened to state that this newest record would encompass all kinds of rituals. Weird ones and weirder ones still.Got hooked? Raid this some more...
