The RMR crew had their share of intricate metal pieces to review that strained to make sense. So, one day this early 2023, some RMR hands peacefully rummaged about the moldy lost corners of our review pipe. Just to discover that the Spaniards of As Light Dies brutally struck again.

And I freely admit it here for the record, The Laniakea Architecture, Volume II must be one of the most challenging records this crew ever attacked. Do have a care, will ya? Binding elementals will work through strong magick only. And if it goes wrong, you’re so much scorched toast – or turned into a toad to croak upon the world until it or you finally disappear, whatever comes first. So, powerful metal will be needed to cast spells that will hold the forces of evil at bay.

Ah, we’re late again, so late. Work life at RMR starts to feel like Twitter these days. Not enough staff to keep the lights on, and we didn’t even fire anybody (yet). Because if we would, nobody would be left. So, the staff over here at the RMR office tower just slaves on in dogged resignation which leads to a smokin’ mountain of pent-up anger. So, there’s nothing better than some furious demolition delivered with some red-hot metal. And these are exactly the kind of meds everybody needs over here.

Household names and the vile mainstream. Bands that are seemingly known by everybody beyond their (un)usually vast fan multiverse. And – at times – it appears that they’re everywhere. Even if only a minor percentage of the music-producing masses will qualify.

Now, the metal world is a tad more restrained, but you got them as well. And the Bay Area folks of Fallujah are one of them. At least in Extreme Metal circles, they are. And even if you never listened to any one of their concoctions, you surely heard their name mentioned over and over again.
