Boy, there’s some wheeler-dealer stuff going on. We just heard some proggy news about Wheel from Finland, which didn’t quite make it onto our review pipe yet.

But suddenly, we get those doomy vibes from Germany. And indeed, we got ourselves yet another Wheel on the menu. One with that distinct early Doom Metal flavor. And they ain’t even coming from the US. And that’s almost heresy these days.

Do you know why I kinda stopped looking at Khemmis and – for sure – Pallbearer? They’re great musicians, sure. But somehow, they … [...] Click to raid more!

Usually, any band name that starts with Winter tends to emerge from the reaches of the upper North. … [...] Click to raid more!

It’s good that some bands don’t really give a damn. They can’t be bothered about perception, sales values, returns on investment and all those other things of lesser importance. Or a decent presence on social networks, SEO, and the infamous marketing thing.

In Black Metal, these folks are trve kvlt. Those that much rather live down in that fiery pit, blow their drums to smithereens with their blast beats, and worry their guitars and vocal cords until things overheat. Delicious dissonance on a platter of lava-hot, fucking Extreme Metal. Brutal … [...] Click to raid more!
