Sometimes you can feel those vibes. The promise of bands that appear on the scene. Those that are not quite famous yet, but have got the goods to go places – in time.

So happened with Gone In April that the RMR crew took a liking to. And already their last 2016 full-length Threads of Existence had us pretty much hooked.

Now finally, the band released a new video called If You Join Me. The one providing that welcome glimpse into their new album Shards of Light due out in early September 2019.

Zeit – Drangsal (2019) – Review

I just listened to Zeit‘s last album Konvergenz all over again. And you know what? They are pretty much what you could wish for from an Extreme Metal record.

If only the band would not dream the dream of the underground too much. So much so that they are barely visible to the mean crowd on the surface, very much like Allone that the RMR deck crew took a liking to.

I already stated once upon a time that I was pretty much done with Symphonic Metal. You might have heard that from me. Then Delfinia happened, and I found myself with egg on my face.

So, the RMR deck crew’s ‘new’ approach became a trifle more careful.

And it goes somewhat like this: If anybody can deliver a chunk of Symphonic Metal that is so good, it might unhorse biggies like Nightwish, then I want to know about it. Ha, there you go, destiny. I got you good this time. No more egging poor, old RMR.
