It’s been a while. A few years back the RMR crew covered Dream Evil‘s old 2004 piece The Book of Heavy Metal, a record that felt like some insanely powerful metal parody. Very – and I mean very – intense and so full of clichés it almost hurt. On the other hand, the thing also was equally insanely enjoyable. A fun record that ran for weeks on our music machine.

After that, we somewhat lost sight of the band and never got around to covering more of their wares. Until today, that is, with their newest output called … [...] Click to raid more!

Rotting Christ - A Dead Poem - Album Cover

We might have inadvertently sold something to a daemon or five on our forays into the occult, the blackest of Black Metal.

But I digress, back to the deathly ones. It has indeed been some time since real Death Metal brutality was on the menu over at the office tower. And this time, Hideous [...] Click to raid more!

Queensrÿche - Tormentum - Video Cover

Queensrÿche endlessly fascinated us with their early work. They had some great hits later, too, but were never quite able to recreate this unique sound from Geoff Tate‘s glorious days. However, the band found a great replacement in the highly talented Todd La Torre back in 2012. And in time, the band managed to up the ante and produce material that seems to harken back in style and crispness to the olden golden days of this band’s glory.

Case in point, Tormentum – their newest video off their 2022 album Digital Noise Alliance – just dropped, and we … [...] Click to raid more!
