Kronowski - Ashes of Amber - Album Cover

Well, what kind of strange fish have we caught ourselves today? A record the old geezers over at the review desk downloaded because – the artwork intrigued them. And we were greeted with the story of Jasmine. Or something. An unknown outfit called Kronowski with a start date of 2020, boasting typical SoCal feel-good rock fare, complete with an overly sweetish sugary coating and a chipmunk voice spewing dark-ish lyrics at ye. And that, even if the artist hails from Georgia which is – incidentally – on the other side of the US.

And that’s where the inconsistencies already … [...] Click to raid more!

Bokassa - All Out of Dreams - Album Cover

So, naive RMR fully believed that staged Heavy Metal would grace our turntable and started looking for Iron Maiden‘s newest clone or something. But upon a closer look, the situation is a tad different.

Dennis Stratton indeed once rocked with Iron Maiden back around 1980 before Dickinson was even invented. And he only plied the one and only self-titled debut album. So, THAT’s the sole claim for fame … [...] Click to raid more!

Byron - Chapter II: The Lotus Covenant - Album Cover

Byron‘s mighty debut album The Omega Evangelion seriously got on our good side back in ’21 – at first. That was one juicy piece of rock-laden Heavy Metal that proficiently marched us down metal avenue to glories yet unknown. But, those damn choices made by Byron V1 back then suddenly stripped the album of some much of its glory. And that was a true bummer.

So, the question here is, will the band’s dreaded sophomore album Chapter II: The Lotus Covenant rock the stage better than its sibling? We’re yearning for clarity because things look murkier than they … [...] Click to raid more!
