RockmusicRaider Review - IV: Stigmata - Album Cover RockmusisRaider seems to be on the Power Metal train these days. It always amazes me that Cyprus seems to have this ability to churn out metal bands that keep on getting on my radar.

Arrayan Path is one of them and with their 2013 and 4th full-length record IV: Stigmata, they created another metal-laden delight that should for sure retain your attention.

I just did a review on Unleash The Archers, which pissed me off to no end. Reason being that these guys endlessly rehash the same already badly executed concept. Not realizing it does not work, like [...] Click to raid more!

Gypsy Chief Goliath Citizens of Nowhere Album Cover

Ah, I am back in the ’70s or something!

And it is this strange potion of Southern Mediterranean island-flavored metal that did the trick. And [...] Click to raid more!

Blynd – Liber Sum (2015) – Review

      RockmusicRaider - Spotify Logo

RockmusicRaider Review - Blynd - Liber Sum - Album CoverPicture this: The genteel nation of Cyprus. Loads of Souvlaki, Tzatziki, Mediterranean Salad and some local wine on the side. Lazy drives around the countryside with visits to beaches and places unknown. Boat rides and snorkeling tours. Nice, gentle music, warm winds caressing your skin. Drinks at the bar with sunburned friends, hot chicks and all. Well, there you go, Liber Sum (I am free in Latin), you will think.

Sound good? Vacation needed? Liber Sum?

And now this: Harsh, pitiless metal sounds assaulting my ears out of my headphones, no clean singing allowed. Genteel little nation in the midst [...] Click to raid more!
