OK, I get it! Nothing is ever easy and change is a constant, as there is no such thing as a steady state in physical music creation. And it needs some courage to do the change-over that these guys have done. Like in radical and absolute. Nothing much left of Metal and Gothic or Symphonic, whilst there are some attempts to get back on track.

Taking off at full speed, Lzzy Hale is doing her very best with aggressive vocals of love and pain. Feelings about rock shows and … soft stuff. Yes! You heard right! Soft stuff, not only tough like on the previous record. On their previous one, you were wondering who is the toughest guy on the set. No woman there, right? Lzzy – are you getting old or what?

A friend of mine dragged me to a concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival to see these guys live. To see Dirty Sound Magnet? WTF? Dirty who?
