RockmusicRaider proudly uses WordPress to deliver those snazzy music reviews to our fan base. First, because this is a rock-solid, well-known, and constantly updated system to build a site on. And second, because I consider WordPress to be pretty secure.

In fact, the success of a CMS (= Content Management System) defines itself around security-related considerations. It’s a bit like some real estate you wish to acquire. I am pretty sure that you would not buy a place that misses appropriate locks on its entries and sports holes instead of properly secured windows.

Ah, contrite Rockmusicraider needs to report a questionable decision. A long time ago, the RMR crew chose to issue reviews and – potentially – news pieces in local language as well as in the generally accepted English format.

Of course only if someone of the deck crew actually would master the language and the artists involved would – by the same token – predominantly use the lingo. Unforced errors, the plague of some sports. And the curse of some of the best athletes in the world.

You guys know about tennis, right? The epic battles that Federer, Nadal or Djokovic fight for long hours. Followed by addicts on courts stuffed with miscellaneous humanity for felt eternities. To watch a ball smack back and forth. And back again. Over a net. With some limited drama, because emotions are – well – not in line. The Queen may not be amused, that kind of thing.

It is one of those alluring what-if scenarios. One that helps you with that hard life of yours, with building blogs and writing beautiful posts.

What if – as a blog owner – you could have some sort of immediate statistics. You’d do that through collecting likes and shares from any online tool or network your service uses. And then display those numbers – pretty much and preferably live – directly on your website. So, everyone will know if the website is worth its salt – or just simply sucks.
