Freeze The Fall plough The Red Garden!

Freeze the Fall - The Red Garden - Album Cover

They’re young, they’re hungry, and that’s a good thing. Teen band or not, Freeze The Fall boast a musical prowess well beyond their years. And all of that comes with a professional media marketing package that’s almost flawless in nature and execution. But it ain’t snazzy marketing that got our attention, it’s that irresistible sound roaring out of our mighty music machine.

The Red Garden boasts a mix of Alternative and Heavy Rock and a few crazy jaunts into Metalcore country. Plus, you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying some remnants of Nu-Metal that raise their ugly heads suddenly. The band’s … [...] Click to raid more!

Flashback: LDDSM take a Breath!

Los Disidentes Del Sucio Motel - Breath - Album Cover

Here’s to one small blurb I wanted to cover for a while. Back in 2021, Los Disidentes del Sucio Motel got some mileage out of RMR for their Polaris record. Not the easiest of fares and somewhat difficult to get into. But it was worth it and sufficiently out of the box to keep our interest levels up and sharp.

Funeral famously appeared on our radar with their 2024 piece Gospel of Bones that made quite a dent in our obsidian, tear-drenched wastes of melancholy central. A band that – allegedly – gets its lyrics from a psychologist. A disturbing thought, if you think about it. They’re supposed to help people, not wallow in grief themselves.

But the fact is, their newest blurb, The Funereal EP, … [...] Click to raid more!

One Eternal for Stortregn!

Stortregn - One Eternal - Album Cover

Usually, the RMR crew doesn’t respond to shoutouts to cover very short blurbs like that one. But here Stortregn appeared on our radar with a pretty loud bang. Impermanence of 2021 was the latest piece the review desk picked up, and it was a feisty one. For some reason, Finitude didn’t make it onto our review pipe, and it probably should have.

Now, we’re hearing that Romain Negro is seriously out the door and a new vocalist – Franck de Luca – is now in charge of destroying any sense of reasonable clean singing. And that is where the main … [...] Click to raid more!
