Some of the RMR crew like to visit exhibitions. Nothing sleazy nor infested with demonic distortions or styles for nerds only. Just plain art displayed in more or less astonishing splendor.

And sometimes you stand in front of one of these paintings and you wonder why you like the piece. Nothing on the offering really talks to you at first. Yet, something kinda speaks to your inner self. It’s a communication of sorts that you cannot control, and you actually don’t want to. A pleasant discourse that takes place despite yourself.

Ah, dope. Faun are gearing up for a new album in 2022, following their dreamy 2019 piece Märchen & Mythen. AND they are (finally) back with a fresh set of moving pictures.

The band is known for its pretty sumptuous productions, as in Feuer or Walpurgisnacht. Mini-movies that we’ll always prefer over the ubiquitous band-in-the-wilderness thing. And we’re hopeful that this clip here will lighten the load of the pretty mediocre offering of videos covered so far this long year of 2021.

But fear naught.

That’s the credo handed down from the RMR IT department. It’s a sane reminder that the internet is an ugly place. Full of bad actors out to get your data or your money for any and all nefarious activities out there.

Supposedly.

Because not everyone is a bad apple, of course. And it’s always quite a task to filter genuine visitors from intruders, as you don’t want to hinder the former, but block the latter. So, they’re going to burn down the good ol’ homestead and hoof it out of Dodge in a hurry. With a song on their lips and no regrets.

That’s at least what the artwork tells us. And indeed, now that we latched on to Old Man Wizard, the band decided to call it a day and close up shop. Which – of course – can be a fine strategy. Get out as long as the going is greatest (not only good), that kind of thing.
