Will the number 13 turn out to be bad? After all, it’s considered THE bad omen for most of the world. Loki managed to get Baldur1 killed after arriving as the 13th guest at a dinner in Valhalla. Or – Judas served as the 13th participant at the last supper, allegedly.2 So, there’s a certain unease about that number in Western Culture, which is often associated with bad luck.

By the end of 2022, the RMR reviewers realized that Xaon‘s latest record – The Lethean – never quite made it onto our swampy review pipe. Desperation levels are rising again. So, the escape valve is – you guessed it – Anaal Nathrakh all over again. Some crazed mix of Total Fucking Necro‘s horrible grind and the terrifying musings of the widow that the Kenny / Hunt team pushes straight up your derriere.

RMR is rummaging about the metal underground yet again. And I mean some hardcore underground. Félonie‘s the name and De Sève et de Sang1 the game. Created by a one-man show that currently only sports a sparse number of followers on the band’s Facebook page and not much social media coverage at the time of writing this piece.
