RockmusicRaider Newsflash - Diabulus in Musica - Dirge for the Archons - Album Cover Diabulus in Musica will unleash their newest album Dirge For The Archons early November 2016. Just in time to whet our appetite for more, the band released a lyrics video for their flagship track, Crimson Gale

RockmusicRaider will, of course, deliver a review on the new album in time. And we will see what the pleasures of the Symphonic Metal movement of 2016 will bring to our table at this point.

You know, the medieval city with the escalators that move you from the catacombs to the light. A place of epic murder trials, loads of chocolate and pasta.

How very fitting a background for the Machiavellian theme employed in this album. And not yet quite 10 years into the game, they came a hell of a long way in a very short time. That kind of thing, right?

Well, the style of the Dutch band Stream of Passion for sure creates a déjà-vu of sounds past. But just calling their music this or that is somewhat simplistic. 

Their newest 2014 production A War of Our Own comes across like a typical Symphonic Metal band with a strong Progressive Metal influence. A sound almost ubiquitous to anything in the genre.
