Litha Litha Album Cover

Oh boy. Yet another band whose name is Legion. There are so many Lithas out there, it truly boggles the mind. On top of that, the master supreme – Andrew Black – and his one-man outfit are difficult to find online. And that spells doom for good marketing. So, what are they going to do to stand out from that notorious crowd? A difficult proposition at best. But then, what can you do, the terrible underground takes it all, right?

And yet. This new self-titled record continued to fascinate the hell out of us. But it ain’t without pain … [...] Click to raid more!

Visions of doom, damnation, and French-tainted brutalities? Ars Moriendi – gruesome roadways ahead.

Arsonist‘s1 one-man outfit never made it onto our review pipe. Previous records must have sailed straight past its murky entrance and never returned. … [...] Click to raid more!

Kold - Intet Mere Er - Album Cover

2022 already whipped up a pretty good crop of whatever Extreme Metal is capable of. Especially, Black Metal made a comeback with the folks over at Kampfar usurping the numba 1 spot on the RMR Top 10 Records list.

Now, since 2023 got underway we didn’t stop searching for those nuggets. With some great results and one specimen that almost fell through the cracks.

So, Kold1 came along with their debut piece Intet Mere Er. Their brand of Black Metal sits straight where old Scandinavia left off many years ago. And for those thinking that such warmed-up old … [...] Click to raid more!
