Lucid Grave - Cosmic Mountain - Album Cover

The RMR crew is a weird bunch. Instead of going for the easy, high-rolling stars of the rock and metal world that would net us gazillions of clicks and wild riches, we often pick bands with no name and even weirder styles.

That trait saddles us with pretty pig-headed adepts of the underground and no social recognition to speak of. Yet again, these records often contain that fresh material, still untainted by the greedy little hands of big labels. And that’s often more alluring at the RMR office tower than honey is to bees.

Dirty Sound Magnet - DSM-III - Album Cover

RMR himself discovered Dirty Sound Magnet felt eons ago, incidentally at a live concert in 2013. This was still the time with Didier Coenegracht at the helm and the band’s – at the time – newest and only record What Lies Behind on the menu. DSM in a robe of Zep-ish pleasures that immediately hooked this reviewer. And this concert may also have been a major influence to get this here music ‘zine on the road. In short, RMR and DSM go way back.

In the meantime, much has happened and this band is now a totally different animal. Out … [...] Click to raid more!
