The RMR crew just enjoyed a bout of olde thrash/trad goodness. Something so retro, it feels like a fucking time machine to the ’80s. But here, we got ourselves some young guns, comparatively speaking with some different flavor.

Enforced started back in 2016 and continued to move full steam ahead, brutalizing everything and everyone in its path. So far, RMR never had the pleasure to welcome them to our roster. Eva Can’t, one of the weirdest band names out in Metalsphere. The RMR crew came across this here outfit a few times, but it never quite clicked. Somehow we always were busy with something else. Or their eclectic style didn’t quite sync with the undercurrent of the day.

Remakes only sparsely grace our review pipe. There must be a couple at best, and that’s for good reason. Usually, the RMR crew prefers the raw material, the stuff that came before, the real thing. And not some crazy-ass remix with – Loki forbid – some atrocious synth-pop elements added for fun. You get all kinds, y’know, and not everything is pretty.

Already Eternal Storm‘s debut album Come The Tide generated some giant waves over here. A moon-driven show of force that waltzed straight onto the lofty heights of the RMR 2019 Top 10. A relatively rare occurrence, but not completely unheard of.
