Solemnity. Somber, gloomy, grave, and earnest, yet of dark and often sublime beauty. A name of a band that may already turn into an omen of sorts.

Their offering emerges so far from the deep underground that you have trouble finding them. Even if they started to appear on the usual haunts lately. Yet, there’s no trace of a visual, no former works that we could find, even if the band saw the light of day in 2016 already. Invisibility on top of solemnity, that’s quite a cocktail.

I already got a kick out of the opening drawl on the clip – and I quote – “…with a car entering highway 66, off route 6…”. That’s so cliché, the hook was in my flesh before I even watched the piece.

Well, hells bells, Red Cain are at it again.

This time with Juliet, lifted straight off their latest full-length Kindred: Act I. And that’s the second steely hook right there. Well, to cover two videos on RockmusicRaider for one sole upcoming album is a true first. This is some sort of fanboy gluttony that should not be repeated too often, lest the blog lose its bite and focus. But hey, give credit, where credit is due, right?

Already Haken‘s former piece Canary Yellow off their upcoming record Virus fascinated us with their ’80s era, nuclear version of germ warfare gone wrong.

The devil’s speaking in tongues? Looks like it. And he comes from Canada of all places.

The RMR deck crew set out to find that taste of the underground. The place that thrives on real Black Metal, not those pseudo tinfoil outfits destined to scare little kids or something. Looking for these hidden things1, from entities that you don’t easily come by. And in truth, we had a lot of mainstream-ish stuff on the menu lately.
