The RMR officescape is usually not too keen on publishing videos. More often than not, you get them YouTube clips working exaggerated theatrics, on a bed of low-fi MP3. And in tandem frequently hacked to death, like a killing by Freddy on a full moon night with atrocious camera work. But hey, sometimes the mix just works.

The US-based band Gone in April continues to work on the successful implementation of their 2016 record Threads of Existence. The band around Julie Bélanger Roy already issued a very well-crafted video called As Hope Welcomes Death not quite a year ago. This one dealt with deathly matters of the straightforward, earthly kind, if we can call it that.

Those having followed the RockmusicRaider webzine last year will certainly remember the Swiss band Infinitas and their 2017 album Civitas Interitus. The album was deemed delightful enough by the RMR deck crew to make it onto the 2017 Top 10 Records, too.
