RockmusicRaider Review - Gorilla Pulp - Peyote Queen - Album Cover Ah, groovy! The first track Die of Thirst just started to blast out of my headphones, taking me on a journey. Where is my snazzy headband and embroidered, henna-colored sleeveless jacket before I continue? This harkens back, way back in time to the druggy, psychedelic times Hard Rock was born out of blues and stuff.

Gorilla Pulp really adopt this pre-metal style in Peyote Queen. A style in fashion back in the ’70’s up to early ’80’s and delivered with an enthusiasm that is frankly refreshing. I am constantly reminded of Black Sabbath and their very first contribution to [...] Click to raid more!

RockmusicRaider Review - Sideburn - Evil or Divine - Album Cover RockmusicRaider is having Swedish Rock and Metal week. We just finished a newsflash on Endbite. So, it looks like the Force It album cover seemingly with two teenagers having a go at themselves in the most complicated bathroom of the world is an omen, too. With leering bathroom appliances no less – the lechers.

Dirty Sound Magnet – The Bloop (2014) – Review

RockmusicRaider Review - Dirty Sound Magnet - The Bloop - Album CoverGotta love them! The Bloop sounds like stuff we already heard really and felt somewhere, but when? Ah, back in the ’70s – evidently. In yonder times when laid back and cool Rock was in fashion. Southern Bluesy Tunes that really relax you – good for the soul after all that complicated Metal stuff that I recently listened to.

Like getting yourself a bucket of shrimp down at the beach near New Orleans. And then chillin’ out some later with a cold beer in a beach chair getting your jelly-belly burned. Or just hanging out after a tough day at [...] Click to raid more!
