RMR sports playlists! Since its meager beginnings, the crew generated roughly 1’100 reviews spread over around 700 bands covering a riot of different genres and sub-genres. That’s a pretty impressive number, given the lack of manpower and an abundance of life events getting in the way all the time. After all, we only have 24 hours in the day, plus the night if need be. An operation fraught with unpaid labor and a day job to finance all that pain and misery.

Howdy fans and friends!

A long while ago, the RMR deck crew issued that first attempt at glory. A list of most popular posts. Those that stuck with the audience, appreciation expressed through the sheer force of a great many clicks.

Since our last measurement, things changed dramatically and RockmusicRaider progressed further down that road to blog nirvana. In other words, from being totally on the outskirts of the metal music blogosphere, we find ourselves today at least somewhat more center stage. Trademark Hard Rock and fledgling Metal, or straight rock’n’roll continued to spew forward as the band accelerated out to space and went for stardom.

If there is one underrated band in the long history of rock and metal, then it is the British band UFO. Founded in 1968 by Phil Mogg, UFO proved to be one of the forerunners of the Hard Rock and Metal multiverse that we enjoy today. They have today some 22 studio albums under their belt, with an added score of live records and other versions to boot. UFO‘s latest album reached our shores in 2017, no less. Still going strong after some 50 years of service.
