It is true. These guys have an ego bigger than the tiny Faroe Islands, where they hail from. The swagger they deliver their fare with continues to astonish me. But what can you do, when warrior blood flows in your veins.

Right?

Hel, the newest record of Týr, feels, as if the beer-swirling folks of Alestorm moved North, and grew some muscle and real beards. And Amon Amarth should be ashamed of themselves, they just got keelhauled by some trve Vikings. Or at least by the remnants of the descendants or something.

Or is it that Týr worship [...] Click to raid more!

I am transfixed by sounds pouring out of my earphones. Staunch, epic metal sounds. The culprit is the Swedish band Sorcerer and their newest album The Crowning of the Fire King. Their second full-length studio album.

You will surely remember their 2015 come-back epic In the Shadow of the Inverted Cross. We are talking about the Vikings and their actions, famous for invasions, violence, and rape. This was a gore-laden time, but with promise for a lot of profit, if these marauders were victorious. And they have been, pretty much at every location, their little dragon boats could reach. Perhaps the most famous actions were the invasions of the British Isles. Back when [...] Click to raid more!

Yo, Baby, where u been all my life?

A crystal clear mix of Heavy and Doom Metal pours out of my earphones and just startled me awake. Oscillating between these two styles, but leaning more towards the doomy mix of nuts served with this Metal Long Island Ice Tea.

A long time in the making, the new album In the Shadow of the Inverted Cross of the Swedish Metal Band Sorcerer is like a bunch of vitamins to a somewhat neglected field of this metal universe. Dark, magical, stepping right out of the mists of the treacherous moor onto the stage.

I am so pleased that they [...] Click to raid more!
