The saga of the two Batushkas continues, and the controversy with it. This time with a teaser of an upcoming video from Bart’s camp. One that should whisk all doubts about the trve story of Batushka to fairyland. And provide us with the genuine narrative of this convoluted affair.

The big question was if or if not we should review the two offerings of Batushka that are currently out. Because the members of this band caused themselves more trouble than necessary and generated a major controversy in the process. Which is – of course – not necessarily a good thing, as this wastes energy and resources. Energy that could have been used to write stellar material, not feeding egos and paying lawyers.

Sometimes things just fit. At the time of the release of Berserker, Amon Amarth‘s 2019 epic, I was just reading the newest novel of Bernard Cornwell’s Viking series.

A perfect backdrop to a great story, whilst Johan Hegg growls about the English growing confused when faced with the berserkers of the Norse invaders. Back in time, way back in time.
