Marko Hietala, one of the only artists out there holding the RMR crew’s unwavering respect. He – of course – will remain forever famous as one of Nightwish‘s main pillars. Until he chose to retire from the band back in early 2021, that is, done with a statement that made for somewhat grim reading.

You know, acts so daft or ideologically challenged, we’ll ban our very own fucking reviews. “Our very first single in two years…”, Simone Simons crooned some time ago. Not quite true, The Alchemy Project of 2022 came and went without much reverb out in the fan crowd. But I guess, she meant Epica-owned music following in the wake of the astonishing Omega. But one can never be quite sure.
