To beat Passenger records with the allure of All The Little Lights or Whispers will be difficult, to say the least. Even if these two contained many sins that truly chipped away at their overall ratings. And indeed, this is the mighty rocky mountain that this particular artist currently tries to vanquish.

I have been less than amused with the 2016 record Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea. Even if this one contains pretty sturdy tracks like Anywhere with its funky beat. So, hey, you can’t get it right every time. Superman ain’t in it.

Wow!

And this raised a major concern right from the beginning. Do we have another case of extensive, badly managed complexity that raises [...] Click to raid more!

The RMR offices just reviewed the icy Black Metal album Kwintessens of Dodecahedron dealing with some sort of a rebirth cycle. Understandably, birth, death, and rebirth are – for some at least – pretty important. Even if this specific dogma is not really supported by the Holy See.

So it is doubly spicy to see another such record appearing from Salerno in Italy of all places. A country, more known for its catholic values, rather than its progressive undercurrents. With an offering of some Black Metal to boot. And that genre infested by The Goat is usually not too visible [...] Click to raid more!
