Paganizer - Beyond The Macabre - Album Cover

Rogga Johansson is probably one of the most prolific creators of heavy music out there. There’s a seemingly endless stream of Death Metal projects he’s calling his own or is involved in. And sometimes this makes me want to contact this guy to help poor old RMR figure out how one manages all that complexity without going insane.

And we have a confession to make. The RMR crew ignored former Paganizer records. Because of, you know, too much Rogga. And that can lead to total sensory overload and metallic depression. But here, the mighty review committee decided to give … [...] Click to raid more!

Faun - Gwydion - Video Cover

The RMR crew just covered Eluveities latest video that found highest praise from the review committee at our mighty office tower. But a short while earlier, Faun joined forces with the Swiss folk metallists for their video Gwydion. And this is – in and by itself – a stellar idea.

Faun are of course known for their pretty sumptuous video productions. You’ll always find a pretty snazzy storyline based on some mythical character or ancient legend. Now, Aidus here is the complete … [...] Click to raid more!

Cradle of Filth - Dusk... and her Embrace - Album Cover

There are records that you gotta be in the mood for. And all of Cradle of Filth‘s pieces kinda qualify for that sentiment. The level of crazy intensity, the ceaseless high-pitched screams, the endless gallivanting in between the world of gothic moodiness and speedy blackened Extreme Metal tend to wear out even the sturdiest of metalheads. But in turn, CoF would not be itself if that ferocity would suddenly evaporate and be replaced with something that – I don’t know – Amaranthe would do, for instance. What a blasphemous thought, though, right?

Now, the question comes to mind, when … [...] Click to raid more!
