I’ll stick it to the bad weather. Because there is always bad weather up there. And so cold you have trouble staying on the beach. Rain pouring down, sheep galore, and flat, vast, windy, watery landscapes.

This is Frisia, where Wendigo rock from since 2012. So, what else can you do in this wet environment than make music? And it is not the traditional songs, but – by Loki – absolutely great Hard Rock.

Their debut EP – appropriately named Initiation – will just make you forget about the wet, and let you start rocking around the hall. Influences are [...] Click to raid more!

Do you like your rock served together with a whiskey – well – on the rocks? Down by the bayou, sitting on the porch? Rocking chair and all? New Orleans style?

There ya go! You may want to check out Vinyl Hero. Crunchy, scratchy, somewhat jazzy, and bluesy rock seemingly blowing over from times long past.

Only, they ain’t near any bayou, they dwell in Montréal up in Canada of all places. But never fear, this band crunches about that gravel path of theirs like there is no tomorrow. In a way, they sound something like a slow to mid-tempo, [...] Click to raid more!
