Well, busted: Here is one of my favorites. RMR going mainstream billboard chasin’! What is the world coming to?

Train, faithfully headed by lead singer Pat Monahan and supported by long-time members Jimmy Stafford and Scott Underwood (left the band in 2014, by the way), always get me up to a good mood again.

OK, I get it, folks: No metal there. So sorry. But you know what? If you ever lived in good, old California, which I did, this is THE style. If you talk simple rock and nothing sturdier, of course. Pop is an altogether other matter and filled [...] Click to raid more!

Now, Mark Storace still has it in him. The old fire still ablaze, albeit a bit quieter than a few years back. Indeed, [...] Click to raid more!

RockmusicRaider Review - ACDC - Black Ice - Album Cover

After a long, indeed a very long waiting time1, our Hard Rock and Heavy Metal wielding band AC/DC finally presented Black Ice. In 2008, no kidding, almost a decade later than the former record.

Of course, with their track record, there is no urgency anymore. But I nevertheless hoped that something more would come out of them earlier. I am, after all, a big fan of them.

At first sight, a more subdued form of their former more exuberant style becomes apparent. Kind of sounding dangerously like Krokus in places. You know, the Swiss hard rockers that recently … [...] Click to raid more!
