RMR’s Hall of Fame of All Time!

RockmusicRaider - Hall of Fame

Welcome to Valhalla.

The hall of fame of the most remarkable records that crossed our hawse to date. It’s the RockmusicRaider version of the feasting hall, where the mead flows in streams, meat comes in abundance, and earthly pleasures of the flesh beckon you at every table end. And you don’t even need to die with a sword in your hand to get there.

Sounds good, huh? Free, eternal props and laurels galore. Only and as always, there is a catch to it. Rulez, always those friggin’ rulez, I tell ya.

Death of a Dryad - Hameln - Album Cover

Sometimes you encounter records that just stop you dead in your tracks. A jumble of sounds that somehow interacts with your blackened metal soul just hit ye. And spooked, you turn around to check who’s knocking. But nobody’s there.

We were already quite impressed with Heart Like a Grave back in 2019, a somewhat more assertive piece than the former ones. And the question is, what comes next?

Well, their new video The Conjurer does. If anything, the band didn’t jettison any of their … [...] Click to raid more!

RockmusicRaider Newsflash - Blunderbuss - Resurrection - Album Cover

Who said that Nu-Metal was dead outside Limp fucking Bizkit and Korn? Well, the genre is kind of a holdall. Boy, even Evanescence was accused to be nu, just because there was some pseudo-rap in their first piece. You know, the one with Lee and Moody still in charge. So, I guess that many metallists got fed up and used other genres to describe things better. Like Gothic Metal for the aforementioned band.

Yet, I reckon that these people never heard of Blunderbuss and their 2016 piece Resurrection. Even if this outfit sports a style that is bemoaned by many to be all bad, playing … [...] Click to raid more!
