TheClosedCircle - Love, Shine & Die - Album Cover

The Spanish rock band TheClosedCircle – produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa are just about to cut their debut album Love, Shine & Die loose into the world.

Never heard of them?

I am not surprised. True to their name, this band appears to be very closed. Coming seemingly out of the left-field, they are very difficult to pin down. No discernible bio, a web presence so austere, it is difficult to find anything and anyone on it. Good graphics, though. And this is not one of these backroom Black Metal outfits, relishing their anonymous privacy.

RockmusicRaider Newsflash - Vinyl Hero - Seven Days on a Train - Album Cover

Do you like your rock served together with a whiskey – well – on the rocks? Down by the bayou, sitting on the porch? Rocking chair and all? New Orleans style?

There ya go! You may want to check out Vinyl Hero. Crunchy, scratchy, somewhat jazzy, and bluesy rock seemingly blowing over from times long past.

It’s a Decadent Life, the newest album of Endbite released in January 2016 comes along in a refreshingly rocky gown. They project a real, down-to-earth, kind of old-school rock’n’roll, at times a bit Black Sabbath-ish in flavor. Often veering off onto Hard Rock territory, even getting a somewhat metallic tinge at times. All of this comes complete with some pretty serious soloing and riffing.

Impressive that, keep it up, guys!

I laud their courage to include Reggae-style tunes into that rocky mix of theirs, which spices stuff up some. No dreadlocks detected yet, though.

The electro-pop tracks in [...] Click to raid more!

Newsflash: Hard Reset rock about Machinery & Humanity!

RockmusicRaider Newsflash - Hard Reset - Machinery and Humanity - Cover Art

Hard Reset‘s 2015 and first full-length album Machinery & Humanity released on CD in Europe in February of 2015.

The band hits you with some sort of a subdued, but very refined style of their own brand of rock. Often in the vein of their punk brethren with a distinct grungy flavor at times. Like some seriously toned-down mix of Nightmen and Nirvana combined.

The inclusion of some prog elements is sometimes surprising, but at a much less flashy level than their partners in crime of this very particular universe.

Their music has got soul, however. Well thought through and refined, whereas the lyrics for sure would need [...] Click to raid more!
