RockmusicRaider - Gloryhammer - Space 1992 - Album Cover

Never judge anything by its looks! I tell ya. Don’t. The garish album art of the newest Gloryhammer album Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards with its purple pinkish hue and green Lego monster just got my teeth hurting in a heartbeat.

And it is a good example of why not.

Gloryhammer present you with insanely catchy lines, melodies that will stick to you like honey in your hair, presenting their parodical metal cheese with enthusiasm and energy that will wither away the mighty egos of other bands to nothing. By Loki!

Slap Betty Nothing out of Nothing

Fancy some real crunchy rock to go with your burger and beer? Well, try some Slap Betty from the Baltic Sea city Kemi in Finland and their newest item Nothing out of Nothing. Complete with hot, runny-nose sauce and sticky fingers.

Sideburn are part of a very significant rock and metal community active in the land of stellar blond chicks, even better breakfast, ever-behaving citizens, and stringent speed controls.

Not so? Damn! In fact, the neat surface of this country hides this pretty exciting underground culture. Some big names, too: Draconian, … [...] Click to raid more!

Bear Bone Company – Bear Bone Company (2015) – Review

Bear Bone Company - 2015

Well, you gotta give it to them: The Swedish band Bear Bone Company sport a swagger that lets them strut about the scene to a point that they risk stumbling over some of their body parts. When I saw their somewhat meager, but decidedly juicy bio, I thought this better be THAT good. And you know what? I kinda like it.

The band joins us from Örebro in Sweden but brandishes a real California-gone-New-Orleans look and feel. That southern scratchy sound that just calls out for feisty bikes and leather boots.

The band formed back in 2012 and they are now (finally) ready to go … [...] Click to raid more!
