RockmusicRaider - Gloryhammer - Space 1992 - Album Cover

Never judge anything by its looks! I tell ya. Don’t. The garish album art of the newest Gloryhammer album Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards with its purple pinkish hue and green Lego monster just got my teeth hurting in a heartbeat.

And it is a good example of why not.

Gloryhammer present you with insanely catchy lines, melodies that will stick to you like honey in your hair, presenting their parodical metal cheese with enthusiasm and energy that will wither away the mighty egos of other bands to nothing. By Loki!

And they went straight over the edge of the flat and rocky Gothic Metal World, finding themselves in a DJane ready club world universe, where painted goblins reside.

What a change of direction going Pop Metal on me. Evil tongues would say electro-pop, but I am not evil, well only sometimes. Or should we say Synth Pop? Nope, the metal aspect [...] Click to raid more!

RMR’s Intermittent Best of… – Tome I!

Well, hells bells! Time to kick this off with the first-ever Intermittent Best of… of the RockmusicRaider story.

This was quite a run from no website a few months ago. To a blog that starts to pay off to some very, very limited fame. And this is just the beginning with – surely – many more reviews to come. With the limited time that I have at my disposal with a day job and many other duties.
