RockmusicRaider Review - Wolfheart - Tyhjyys - Album CoverDamn, I’m freezing! It is this cold, cold gale blowing down on us from the arctic North. Or is it the cold metal blasting out of my boom boxes? Luckily the winter is over soon and the frozen tundra and wind-blown plains between the Russian border and eternity will warm up. If not, these guys up in Finland will continue to find dark and cold tunes that will ice our bones and souls. And there is a bunch of them trying to drive us to tears with doomish and dark soundbites that flow towards us.

Now speaking of cold and desolate: The Finnish horde Wolfheart just blessed us with their newest full-length album Tyhjyys.Got hooked? Raid this some more...

Amaranthe – The Nexus (2013) – Review

Wow! We found ourselves some nexus here. Right? The Rasmus on steroids with a taste of Britney Spears! And this featuring a female front and two more male singers – one clear voice, the other growls. It is kind of a vocalist overkill of sorts. And all that voodoo is delivered without the feathers that you would have gotten from Lauri and his gang! One could describe it as total Pop and Disco Metal, fully out of control, but with a few solos made by Olof Mörck. Those got my attention straight away by the way – not bad at all.

In addition, some of the growls would make Arch Enemy proud.Got hooked? Raid this some more...
