The first full year @ RockmusicRaider – 2015 – has passed and we start to approach mid-year 2016. By Loki, things are moving fast and I am not getting younger. So, what happened since Tome II. I can say one thing: Dark, dark is the going when the going gets tough.

RockmusisRaider seems to be on the Power Metal train these days. It always amazes me that Cyprus seems to have this ability to churn out metal bands that keep on getting on my radar.

Arrayan Path is one of them and with their 2013 and 4th full-length record IV: Stigmata, they created another metal-laden delight that should for sure retain your attention.

Arrayan Path have this uncanny knack to connect to you immediately and get you to continue listening to their tune. I am not exactly sure what causes this, but Chronicles of Light is certainly pretty powerful stuff, sprinkled with a lot of passion and authenticity. 

It is this extra kick that gets the reviewer’s attention for a record, even if the pipeline is desperately overflowing. Now, they just did exactly that to me with their 5th and newest album Chronicles of Light.
